King Gillette Ranch Wedding

Ashley and AJ exchanged vows at King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas and their venue was an absolutely jaw-dropping backdrop with an interesting historic past! The ranch is now a favorite filming location for celebrities and the cult history draws many a paranormal fanatic.

Established originally by King Gillette, yes – like the founder of Gillette razors – it passed ownership through the years and was fairly recently the property of a cult that was dismantled in 1989. They even had a leader known as “Prophet”!

Despite the enthralling history lesson, King Gillette Ranch offered stunning getting-ready spaces, a huge tree provided a shady, cool escape from the sun and heat on hot wedding days and is the typical setting for ceremonies while the Spanish-style courtyard transforms into a gorgeous reception space.
