Choosing your wedding photographer
is kind of a big deal and you probably have some questions!

Let's get into it.

Find answers to some commonly asked questions below!

Will you edit our photos to the style I like?

I fully appreciate dark and moody or light and airy editing styles, but that’s not true to my work. If you hire me, you can expect to see a style that is consistent with my galleries. You can absolutely tell me which galleries from my work you like best and I will keep this in mind while we shoot to help ensure your delivered gallery is aligned with both of our expectations.

Do we get to see all the photos and choose the ones we want you to edit?

As a photography professional, I want you to trust that I’m going to share and edit the most meaningful photos of you that I capture on your special day. I select and edit the best photos from the full day to provide you with a beautiful selection and variety of shots that tell the story of your wedding day in a beautifully illustrated light. 8-hour wedding day galleries on average consist of about 800-1000 photos.

What are your prices and packages?

Pricing varies on several factors including hours of coverage requested, any applicable travel fees and add-ons! Peep my package starting rates on my pricing page or contact me for my full pricing guide and a customized quote.

We’re on a budget, Do you offer discounts?

I get that weddings can be expensive, but when it comes to the wedding industry you absolutely get what you are willing to pay for. If you want your friend who is interested in photography but has only ever shot on auto-mode to capture your wedding for cheap, it’s a shot in the dark regarding how the photos will come out. Trust me, my sister tried to cut costs on her wedding photographer when she and my brother-in-law got married right after graduating college and it was one of their BIGGEST regrets. The rest of the wedding was amazing, but all she has to remember it by are blurry, poorly lit pics.

That being said, I do offer discount rates for weekday weddings and elopements that are on my destination travel list. If you have another destination location in mid that isn’t listed, just hit me up with your idea as I may offer a discount if it’s a place I’m want to visit (and just don’t know it yet).

I/my partner hate(s) having their photo taken. Can you help?

I have a very calm presence combined with a candid photojournalistic style. The only time you’ll really be aware of the cameras is during family group photos and the couples portraits, and during this time I will guide you through everything to ensure it is as quick and painless as possible especially for those who are camera-shy. I aim for open communication from your very first point of contact with me so that by the time your wedding arrives, it feels like I’m just another member of your bridal posse hanging out with a camera in hand. I also highly recommend couples engagement sessions as they allow us to get to know one another and you'll feel a little more comfortable being in front of the lens on your wedding day.

Should I give you a shot list?

As an expert in the photography field, there is no need to provide a shot list. One less thing for you to worry about. You can trust that I’ve got you covered and will be prepared to get all the most flattering photos as well as leaving room for creative candids and artistic inspiration that arises in the moment. The only list I will ask for is your list of family group shots.

Do you shoot all types of weddings?

Yes! Love is love. Your same-sex, non-denominational,  traditional, or completely out of the ordinary wedding is welcome here. I love experiencing new perspectives and have an open-mind to everything!
