Wedding at Historical Lindley-Scott House in Azusa

Linda and Jen overcame multiple challenges of planning their wedding during a pandemic to make their magical day happen. Fortunately, the indoor mask mandate was lifted just weeks prior and they were able to happily celebrate at the historical Lindley-Scott House venue with both their closest family and “chosen” family.

Every detail about the wedding day was clearly in harmony with who Linda and Jen are as a couple. They had an emotional ceremony followed by a reception that was a memorable affair.

Their relationship was both silly and sweet and it was clear they found comfort and strength in each other’s presence and their family came together to rally and ensure they knew how loved and supported they were!

Their wedding theme was an ode to classic, hollywood glamour. With the pristinely preserved Lindley-Scott housee serving as their backdrop, the vintage wallpaper and furniture made for stunning bridal portraits both inside and out.

Linda’s inspiration was a mix of 1940’s pin-up girls and Cinderella. She even carried around a picture of Liz Taylor’s wedding day photo for an entire year while I was planning my wedding look. She described her style as a clean, vintage, feminine look and chose a classic silk ballgown to match the 1940-50s style.

Jen’s suit was an homage to her favorite color green which reminds her of hr service in the Army and gives her a sense of pride while her tie was a subtle champagne color to match her mother’s dress, to let her know that she was an important part of her life. She also took time to grow out her hair to make sure she had a nice classic part and slick style that matched Linda’s vintage hair look.
