LACMA Wedding Day Session

So how does one get married in the midst of a pandemic?

When Oyin and Femi reached out to me in June, they were fortunate to have found a courthouse open and willing to give them their marriage license! They could have only one witness present and Femi’s mother had that honor. Afterward, they knew they wanted to commemorate the day with a wedding day couples session at LACMA.

We shot late in the afternoon starting with the Urban Lights exhibit and with the Museum currently closed under construction plus pandemic precautions, we had the entire space mostly to ourselves which made it easy for us to practice safe social distancing AND nail these stunning shots!

We then moved over to the park area where Oyin and Femi shared a “first dance” of sorts. We played Girls Like You and they busted a move to kick off married life together before taking off for a celebratory dinner.
