A little rain didn’t put a damper on Michael and Mary’s wedding day! These sweethearts were introduced by a mutual friend in college although they were at different universities and hit it off right away. After almost 10 years of dating, it was time to tie the knot! They put a lot of work into the details throughout the day so you’ll notice we took a lot of care to capture each tiny one throughout the day in addition to all of the sweet and candid moments throughout.
You might think a little rain on the wedding day is poor luck BUT overcast days actually create for a beautiful natural filter and soft lighting. Did you know it’s actually said to be lucky if it rains on your wedding day? This theory derives from Hindu culture and implies that when you tie a knot, it may unravel but a wet knot is much harder to untie signifying that your marriage will last!
